The wait is over! Keepers Collective 2024 Summer Camp is back with exciting new programming and a fresh camp calendar. Are you ready to experience something new in your child's summer camp adventure? Look no further than Keepers Collective, where nature is the classroom and learning is limitless.
We are passionate about providing children with the opportunity to connect with nature and learn about pollinator stewardship. This year, we are delighted to announce expanded programming, including our Three-Day Mighty Honeybee Camp and our new Two-Day Powerful Pollinators Camp. These programs are designed to inspire campers to engage with nature and understand the crucial role of pollinators in our ecosystem. Additionally, we are thrilled to introduce Ms. Nikki to the hive! Dive into the Q&A below to get to know her better!
Three-Day Mighty Honeybee Camp
The Three-Day Mighty Honeybee Camp is designed to teach campers about the importance of honeybees and their contribution to the environment. Campers will explore the apiary with experienced beekeepers, learn how to hive bees, extract honey, and appreciate the complex role honeybees play in our ecosystem. The camp will give campers a hands-on experience where they will be able to wear beekeeping suits and meet our buzzing friends up close.
Our goal is to inspire the next generation to take care of the planet by appreciating the role that bees play. Campers will leave with a newfound respect for these amazing creatures as well as a deep appreciation for nature.
Two-Day Powerful Pollinators Camp
The Two-Day Powerful Pollinators Camp is designed to enlighten campers about the crucial role that pollinators play in our ecosystem. Campers will learn through observation and participation how to create and maintain a pollinator-friendly garden. Additionally, they will learn about the importance of native pollinators and how to encourage them to thrive in their natural habitats.
This camp offers an ideal experience for campers with a passion for the environment and a desire to protect and support it. Campers will have the chance to interact with nature and understand our complex relationship between native pollinators and their impact on the world around us.

We recently asked Ms Nikki a few questions just to help get you buzzing for summer camp. Get ready to uncover some fun secrets about Ms. Nikki before joining us in the hives this summer... Here's a wacky Q&A to reveal her wild side!
Q: If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
A: Tough question! I’d want to experience being all the animals! But one I’ve always been fascinated with is an elephant. I appreciate their strength, intelligence, and how loyal they are to their community.
Q: What's your favorite food to eat for breakfast?
A: Scrambled eggs, with a slice of butter and honey toast, and a Chai Tea Latte.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
A: New Zealand— the landscape is gorgeous, and great fly-fishing there! They also have some epic mountain biking trails :)
Q: What's your favorite subject in school and why?

Q: Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
A: I’m an avid mountain biker, and fly-fisherwoman. I love going camping, and exploring new places.
Q: Who is your favorite superhero and why?
A: Another tough question… probably Wonder Woman—she’s known for her superhuman strength and power, which are great qualities, but I admire her ability to have compassion and empathy towards others. She’s also driven by a strong sense of justice and fairness and fights for truth and equality.
Q: If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you bring with you?
A: Some way of listening to music, an endless supply of gummy bears, and then a toothbrush/toothpaste :)
